The VT100 standard unit can be used to control ACBs, generators, ATS units, as well as many other applications. Configuration can be either as a change-over volt-free contact, to operate devices having a separate source of power, or the unit can be used to drive a coil or other device directly, using power from the Triplex system batteries, via the three input feeds.

A monitoring facility indicates if a ‘mismatch’ occurs between the inputs, or if an internal fault is present. Where incorporated as part of an electrical interlock circuit between ACBs, the special mechanically-linked contacts ensure that bridging of the change-over function is not possible.

Operating voltage is 24V dc and loads of up to 5A can be switched.

Mounting is by DIN or G rail, and overall size is 111 mm x 110mm, with a height of only 89mm from the DIN rail mounting surface.
